Field ready DFIR device that emulates USB storage and USB CD-ROM, carries live acquisition tools (KAPE, Magnet RAM Capture), and can boot trusted OS images like Kali Linux and Hiren’s for live acquisition. Control it from a built-in web console or the on-device e-ink touch display. Offensive mode supports Rubber Ducky payloads and the Bjorn project.
Windows & Linux support • Built-in Web Console • Offline capable

HIKARI is a field ready DFIR companion that travels like a thumb-drive but works like a tiny toolkit. It can present itself as USB Mass Storage or USB CD-ROM, so you can deliver tools to a live system or boot trusted images for acquisition, all without installing anything on the target.
Control HIKARI from the on-device e-ink touch display or the web console (control-only). To add content, mount HIKARI as USB Storage on your workstation and copy ISOs and tools into the provided folders (e.g., /isos/, /tools/). Then assign a slot and switch modes to present them.
Switch between USB Mass Storage and USB CD-ROM modes. Present curated images for acquisition or boot media.
Carry and present popular tools like KAPE and Magnet RAM Capture directly to target hosts.
Support for live OS images such as Kali Linux and Hiren’s for trusted, repeatable live collection.
Rubber Ducky style payload runner and Bjorn project support for authorized red-team engagements.
Operate HIKARI without a laptop, switch modes, select slots, and kick off common actions using the on-device e-ink touch display.
Use the console to switch modes, assign slots, and review logs. File uploads happen by mounting HIKARI as USB Storage and copying files.
Control HIKARI via the web console or directly on the e-ink touch display. Loading content is always done by mounting as USB Storage and copying files.

No. The web console is for control only (modes, slots, logs). To add content, mount HIKARI as USB Storage on your workstation and copy files into the designated folders, then switch modes/present.
Copy the tool folders onto HIKARI while in USB Storage mode (e.g., into /tools/). On the target, present the storage and run tools from there.
We support those distributions as user-provided ISOs. Place them into /isos/ while in USB Storage mode, then assign a slot and switch to USB CD-ROM to present.
